Looking to relax after a long run? Do you need a recovery moment after a super intense cycling session? This do-it-yourself recipe for a rejuvenating sports soak is just what you need for some self-care post-workout. Using pure essential oils, magnesium flakes, and more, this recipe can be stored in the bathroom for a quick, relaxing dip in the bath at a moment’s notice!

Ingredients
½ cup sea salt
½ cup baking soda
3 teaspoons Jojoba Oil
10 drops Peppermint Oil
5 drops Rosemary Oil
dried lavender, rosemary, or mint (optional)
Directions
  1. In a clean glass bowl add the magnesium flakes, sea salt, and baking soda together until well combined.
  2. Add in your NOW® Solutions essential oils. Continue to stir until the oil is evenly distributed.
  3. Store this sports soak in a large glass mason jar.

To use: Place a ½ cup of the soak in the center of a 12 x 12 muslin cloth. Take up the corners of the cloth and tie with a ribbon or string. Place in your bath water or tie your herb bag over the faucet to allow warm water to run through, filling the air with aromatherapy. Relax and enjoy!
