Soothing Tea Time Bath

Our Soothing Tea Time Bath blend is a comforting addition to bathwater. Magnesium flakes help to soften your skin, and lavender and chamomile oils transport you with their relaxing aroma. If you prefer, Epsom salt can be used as an alternative to magnesium flakes.

Ingredients
6 empty, fillable tea bags
¼ cup sea salt
¼ cup baking soda
½ cup dried lavender, chamomile, or calendula* flowers
10-15 drops Lavender Oil
5 drops Chamomile Oil
1 tablespoon Liquid Coconut Oil
Directions
  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl together and mix well.
  2. Add in your soothing NOW® Solutions essential oil drops and carrier oil of your choice (carrier oil can also be added at time of use). Mix well with a spoon. Avoid direct contact with skin while mixing.
  3. Use a teaspoon to fill each tea bag with combined ingredients and draw string tight.

To Use:
Run a warm bath and drop a couple of tea bags into the water while running. Keep them in the tub for the duration of the bath. The oil from this formula may contribute to the increased slipperiness of the tub, exercise caution when entering and exiting the bath. When you are finished, you can discard or compost the tea bags.

*Calendula is known for its soothing and softening properties.
