Silica

Silicon (also known as silica) is an abundant mineral nutrient (second only to oxygen) that’s needed by the human body for the synthesis of collagen, making it important for healthy hair, skin, nails, and bones.* It’s also necessary for the production of elastin, an important component of arterial walls.* Research indicates silicon is needed for healthy immune system function.*
