Hello! I am Tasha
I am a born and bred Chicagoan. I moved South to attend Tennessee State University in the early 90’s and obtained degrees in sociology and counseling. After the challenge of losing 80 pounds twice, battling depression and two eating disorders, I got into fitness officially after a series of unfortunate events moved me to Alabama and I took a job selling memberships at the local gym. These last two decades have taken me all over the place including becoming a personal trainer, fitness instructor, yoga and Pilates Instructor, international presenter, and a board-certified health and wellness coach. It is my honor to still have a place in this industry; still moving, helping others to move, and creating access and inclusion for all people. As the mother of two adults and now a grandmother, health and wellness, both physical and mental, continue to be my main priority and it is important to me to continue being an example for my family and community.
Why am I a NOW Foods Ambassador?
NOW is a company that aligns with my heart. I find it so majorly important that part of NOW Foods driving factors is to make health and wellness accessible and affordable to as many people as possible. Coming from an impoverished neighborhood, having a love for community, and seeing how health almost feels like a “luxury,” I am so proud to be affiliated with a company that gets it and wants to deliver quality at affordable prices.
I also find NOW products to be unmatched. I not only use the supplements but I use the food and personal care products and recommend them almost daily. I have found a change in my energy and overall health by using the products regularly. Because I follow a plant-based diet, I very much appreciate that NOW carries vegetarian/vegan versions of the supplements I use and have so many rock-star plant-based products in general. I am headed towards 50 years old and I know NOW products will continue to be at the forefront of my health and wellness regimen so I can continue to live my best wellness life!
