Heavenly Hibiscus Sangria "Mocktail"

We’re taking our popular and flavorful Heavenly Hip Hibiscus™ Tea and repurposing it for summer fun with this heavenly mocktail, or a cocktail without the added “sauce”. Star anise, cinnamon, orange juice, NOW® Acai Juice, and a variety of fresh fruits make for a seriously refreshing beverage, and we make it that much sweeter with BetterStevia® Pomegranate Blueberry Liquid.

Ingredients
3 cups boiling water
1 cinnamon stick
1 Star Anise pod
3 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup orange juice
¼ cup acai liquid
6 strawberries, chopped
2 oranges, sliced into 10 rounds
2 limes, sliced into 10 rounds
4 cups carbonated water
Directions
  1. In a large saucepan with 3 cups of boiling water, steep Heavenly Hibiscus tea bags, cinnamon stick, and Star Anise for 5 minutes.
  2. Strain the liquid and discard the tea bags, cinnamon stick, and star anise.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine hibiscus liquid with pomegranate juice, orange juice, BetterStevia® liquid, acai liquid, and fruit, and store overnight in the refrigerator.
  4. Prior to serving, stir in carbonated water and enjoy!
