Gluten Free Orange Date Bread

This super-comforting orange date bread recipe goes gluten-free without sacrificing flavor or texture, thanks to our gluten-free baking and pancake mix and our Organic Beet Sugar.
Ingredients
¾ cup
boiling water
½ cup
organic tangerine juice or any other pure, not from concentrate orange juice
1 cup
dates, chopped
¾ cup
Beet Sugar, Organic
1 ¼ cups
gluten-free pancake mix
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon
nutmeg
¼ teaspoon
ground cloves
1 ½ teaspoon
baking soda
¼ teaspoon
salt
½ teaspoon
Virgin Coconut Oil in Glass Jar, Organic

1 cup
Walnuts, Raw & Unsalted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325° F.
- Mix together boiling water, orange juice, chopped dates, and Organic Beet Sugar.
- Set aside until cooled to room temperature.
- Sift together baking mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and baking soda and set aside.
- Stir coconut oil and egg into date mixture. Mix well.
- Add dry ingredients and stir batter until moistened.
- Fold in walnuts.
- Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.
