Made with NOW Real Food® Organic Almond Flour and Organic Allulose, these cookies are a healthier alternative for those seeking a delectable snack, ideal for holiday gatherings or a cozy night in!

Ingredients
½ cup dark chocolate chips
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 large egg
1 teaspoon flaky sea salt for topping (optional)
Directions
  1. Melt butter and chocolate chips in a double boiler over medium heat until smooth, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool while preparing other ingredients.

  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cacao powder, baking soda and sea salt. 

  3. Whisk together egg, Allulose Sweetener and Better Stevia Peppermint Cookie Liquid Sweetener in a medium mixing bowl until just well combined, about 10 seconds. Gradually whisk in melted chocolate followed by almond flour mixture. Transfer bowl to freezer for 5 minutes to slightly firm dough. 

  4. While dough chills, preheat oven to 350ºF and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a cookie scoop, scoop cookies on baking sheet 3 inches apart. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Repeat with remaining dough. 

  5. Sprinkle cookies with flaky sea salt immediately after removing from oven. Cool cookies completely on baking sheet, about 30 minutes.
