Double Chocolate Almond Butter Smoothie Bowl

When you are craving dessert but need nourishment, this double chocolate almond butter smoothie bowl will hit the spot. It makes a decadent breakfast without any added sugar thanks to monk fruit sweetener. Or whip it up for a solo dinner and a movie night to treat yourself!

Ingredients
4 tablespoons cocoa powder, divided
2½ teaspoons water
2 frozen bananas
5 tablespoons almond butter, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
10 banana slices
Directions
  1. In a small bowl, combine 5 drops NOW Real Food Chocolate Liquid Monk Fruit, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, and water until a smooth chocolate sauce forms. Set aside.
  2. To a blender, add remaining NOW Real Food Chocolate Liquid Monk Fruit, remaining 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, bananas, 4 tablespoons almond butter, vanilla, and almond milk. Blend until smooth.
  3.  Pour into a bowl and top with cacao nibs, almonds, and banana slices. Drizzle with extra almond butter and chocolate sauce.
