stick of butter, melted
Directions
- Heat milk until steaming but not boiling. Remove from heat and add tea bag. Allow tea bag to steep for 5 minutes. Squeeze tea bag over milk to release chamomile tea into milk. Discard tea bag and stir in vanilla extract. Cool milk to room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 325ºF and line a loaf pan with parchment paper overlapping sides. Set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
- In a separate medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, and chamomile-vanilla infused milk.
- Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet.
- Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 55-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
- Cool bread at room temperature for 1 hour. Lift from parchment paper and slice. Serve with butter or jam and a cup of chamomile tea!
