The way maple syrup is graded and labeled has changed. Grade B doesn’t mean better. It’s all Grade A!
If you like light, delicate flavor maple syrup on your pancakes, look for Grade A Golden, Delicate Taste. Want more maple flavor? Go with Grade A Amber, Rich Taste or Grade A Dark, Robust Taste. When it comes to grilling and cooking, you might like Grade A Dark, Robust Taste, which is a dark, richer syrup that stands up and compliments your grilled, glazed or baked dishes.
