Selenium

This essential mineral is a crucial antioxidant nutrient that works particularly well with vitamin E.* Selenium is necessary for life. Its primary function in the body is to inhibit the oxidation of fats, and it plays an important role in fat metabolism through its effects on thyroid function.*
